Florida coastline
I got some great shots in Florida with the drone, but the coastline didn't disappoint from the ground either. Approaching storms and the changing light on the beach make for spectacular images.

Exploring the Big Apple by air continues to produce some of my favorite photographs. Here are some of the best from this year with a little bit of everything: full moon, dramatic fog, twilight and sunrise. All absolutely stunning.
This series of photographs was taken in Ukraine's highest-altitude town in the early morning hours of an Autumn day. As the sun rose, fog rolled in over the mountains and dissipated as quickly as it had appeared. These images represent memories of that day that I will always cherish. The beauty of Dzembronya is unforgettable.
Sun and the beach all year long? Sounded like someplace I needed to visit... with my drone, of course. Exploring Miami by air yielded some simple abstract shots and great views of storms rolling in over the city.
As Autumn comes to a close this year, I wanted to recap my exploration of leading lines in the landscapes of a changing season. Aerial photography is fantastic for seeing the vivid colors of New York's fall foliage on a grand scale.
I love the drone's ability to turn a landscape into an abstract composition. My goal with shots like these is to explore different nuances of nature's beauty from an unexpected perspective. These were taken in the Autumn of 2021 during my drive through the Carpathian Mountains, and are some of my favorite images from the whole trip.
The stretch of the Carpathian Mountains which run through Ukraine looks absolutely incredible in the fall. The drone shots especially highlight the rich color contrasts of the foliage and sky. Seen from the air, the mountains expand out endlessly and disappear into the clouds beyond. The compositions are simple, yet arresting.
Dzembronya is the highest mountain village in Ukraine, and sits among the tallest mountains in the country. Only 258 people live in this remote town, but anyone willing to make the journey is treated to a once in a lifetime experience with breathtaking scenery.
I got out of the city to play with the drone in the dense forests of New York state. The Northeast is known for its colorful fall foliage but possesses a verdant beauty long before Autumn begins. I love the deep blue and green hues punctuated by yellow light reflecting off high points in the landscape. And from the drone's perspective, the images are an interesting mixture of naturalistic and abstract that particularly intrigues me.
No trip to Ukraine would be complete without a visit to Ivano-Frankivsk. Here are a few of my favorite shots; They're atmospheric, minimalist compositions from the best city on the planet. And I'm not just saying that because it's my hometown...

The landscape of Italy’s Amalfi Coast is stunningly beautiful, known for its rocky beaches and ancient towns nested high above the coastline. The drone was perfect for capturing all the elements that make this place so special in individual photographs.
Enjoy a flight above the mighty Carpathians via drone! I put this together with a combination of simple flyovers, hyperlapse, and night timelapse video to highlight the stunning beauty of the Ukrainian landscape over a 24-hour period.
The Carpathian Mountains majestically stretch through Central and Eastern Europe, beginning in the Czech Republic and winding all the way south to Serbia. I visited Ukraine in the Autumn last year to explore the Carpathians via drone. I left with some of my favorite landscape photographs I've ever taken- enough to warrant a second post. More soon...

Every day in my adopted home city, members of the Ukrainian community and local New Yorkers participate in protests against the war. I've been attending demonstrations for weeks and organizing supply drives for Ukrainian soldiers and refugees. I will keep doing everything I can to fight for our freedom.

One of the most stunning parks in Ukraine is named after its beautiful lake, Synevyr, which is the largest in the Carpathian mountain range. Scientists estimate that the lake is about ten thousand years old. From the ground or the air, the landscape is unforgettable.
The city of Ivano-Frankivisk had a huge impact on me when I was a budding photographer. It was incredibly meaningful to return there, with far more experience, and experiment with the drone. From the air I gained an entirely different perspective of a very familiar place. It was an amazing feeling, and this will definitely not be the last collection of photos with this theme!
As some of my viewers already know, nightfall is one of my favorite times to shoot. As the sun went down, the Carpathian Mountains didn't disappoint. Stars lit up the sky, punctuated by periodic meteors streaking across space, while moonlight fully illuminated the landscape below.
Rome certainly lives up to its nickname Caput Mundi, meaning “Capital of the World” in Latin. It’s one of the most architecturally diverse cities I’ve ever visited, and its stylistic influence can be felt in other urban centers around the globe.
An ongoing project of mine has been to capture New York’s beauty by drone at various “magic” hours. I finally have a collection of some favorites to share. Moonrise, moonset, golden hour, and night are all represented. Enjoy!
Iceland may be one of the last places that comes to mind when you think of vibrant, colorful surroundings. This couldn’t be further from the truth. In a matter of days, you can go from a brilliant winter scene to an oasis that isn’t not as warm as it looks from the photos!
